Balbir Singh Dhillon, Brand Director, Audi India, stated that recent increases in raw material costs and changes in foreign exchange rates have necessitated price adjustments. However, the company says it will strive to minimize the impact on customers.

Will price increase affect all models?

This price increase will apply to Audi's entire lineup. The company's major cars sold in India include the Audi A4, Audi A5, Audi A6, Audi Q3, Audi Q3 Sportback, Audi Q5, Audi Q7, Audi Q8, and Audi RS Q8. Prices for all these cars could increase by up to 2%, which could translate into a difference of lakhs of rupees depending on the model.

Meanwhile, Audi is also preparing to launch a new performance SUV in India. The company is launching the Audi SQ8 on March 17th, and bookings have already begun with a token amount of ₹5 lakh. This SUV will be powered by a 4.0-liter V8 engine that generates approximately 507 hp and 770 Nm of torque.
